"The Virgin of the Sun" is an absorbing story of romance and adventure of Hubert of Hastings, a London merchant during the reign of King Richard II. Hubert comes into conflict with one of Richard's courtiers and goes on a sea voyage with a mysterious associate, Kari. He eventually travels to Peru, where he meets Quilla, an Inca princess.
